Patricia Woody graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Political Science and Minor in Business Administration with honors, cum laude, in 2009, where she was awarded the Dean's List Scholarship.

She earned her law degree and Natural Resource Law Certificate from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2015, where she served on the Boards for the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Student Association and the Environmental Law Society. During law school, Ms. Woody was also a member of the UNM National Mock Trial Team and a Research Assistant for two law professors. Upon graduation, Ms. Woody's dedication to trial litigation earned accolades from the administration and faculty of the UNM School of Law when she was chosen as the recipient of the A.H. McLeod Award, recognizing excellence in advocacy.

Additionally, Ms. Woody completed clerkships at a private law firm in Albuquerque and the New Mexico Environment Department in Santa Fe. Ms. Woody's primary areas of practice include premises liability, wrongful death and personal injury litigation, construction law, insurance coverage analysis and general civil litigation.
