An Albuquerque native, Ms. Sedillo crossed state lines to earn her bachelor's degree in 2009 from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. While at Trinity, Ms. Sedillo studied economics and Spanish. She also spent a semester immersed in the culture of Rome, Italy.

After college, Ms. Sedillo returned to New Mexico to attend law school at the University of New Mexico. During law school, Ms. Sedillo served as a manuscript editor of the Natural Resources Journal and participated in a national mock trial competition and the National Hispanic Moot Court Competition. She also externed at the New Mexico Federal District Court and clerked at a local law firm. Ms. Sedillo spent a semester at Catholic University in Washington, DC, where she developed an appreciation for New Mexico's collegial legal community. In her third year, Ms. Sedillo was awarded the CALI award and Honors for her performance in the nationally-ranked Community Lawyering Clinic. Ms. Sedillo graduated in May 2012 and was admitted to the New Mexico Bar in September 2012.

Ms. Sedillo joined Doughty, Alcaraz & deGraauw, P.A. in September 2012 and has enjoyed representing a variety of clients in mass construction defect, premises liability, employment, and personal injury disputes.
